Another out-of-the-U.S. IDEA Club: IDEA Club begins at University of Victoria, Canada! - November 12, 2003

The IDEA Center is excited to announce the beginning of the first IDEA Club in Canada with the IDEA Club at the University of Victora. The club has been founded by student Wade Abbott. Wade is a graduate student at the University of Victoria Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology, and studies the folding of proteins. For an example of his research, click here.

This is the first IDEA Club outside of the United States, but in North America. This is the second IDEA Club outside of the United States, and we are encouraged to see interest in IDEA Clubs from various places around the world. Students everywhere need to be exposed to the best scientific evidence regarding origins, and the IDEA Center is very thankful for any small role we can provide in such a grand endeavor.

For more information about the IDEA Club at the University of Victoria in Victoria, Canada, please contact Wade Abbott at wabbott@uvic.ca. You can also visit their soon-to-be website at http://uvss.uvic.ca/clubs/idea.
