Dr. Michael Ruse is a graduate of the University of Bristol where he earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy. He is the Lucyle T. Werkmeister Professor and Director of the History and Philosophy of Science Program at Florida State University. Dr. Ruse is an internationally recognized scholar in the history and philosophy of science. In addition to his research work he has authored and edited over fifty books. Dr. Ruse specializes in the history and philosophy of biology and is well known for his work on the relationship between science and religion, and the creation-evolution controversy. Dr. Cornelius Hunter is a graduate of the University of Illinois where he earned a Ph.D. in Biophysics and Computational Biology. He is Adjunct Professor at BIOLA University and author of the award-winning Darwin's God: Evolution and the Problem of Evil. Dr. Hunter's other books include Sciences Blind Spot (Baker/Brazos Press). Dr. Hunter's interest in the theory of evolution involves the scientific, historical and theological aspects of the theory. |
